New Sheriff's Office Headquarters, Public Services Building to Open Monday
Sheriff T.K. Waters and his staff are excited to announce the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Public Services Building will open this Monday, September 28, 2026. The building, located at 450 Magnolia Street, will serve as a one-stop destination, bringing together many of the
essential services the public relies on each day to include
fingerprints, public records,
performer work applications / renewals, and
recruitment services. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding weekends and federal holidays.
This move provides convenient and adequate free parking on the first floor for citizens accessing these services in the building’s attached garage. To help the public navigate the new location and understand how to access the building, please watch this

District 1 members will also work out of this location following the move from offices on Norwood Avenue earlier this month.
Located down the street from JSO’s Public Services Building is the
Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Headquarters located at 532 Riverside Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32202. Conveniently located off Riverside Avenue, this location is home to the agency’s administrative and investigative offices.
While most services will be provided at JSO’s Public Services Building (
450 Magnolia Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204 ), security personnel will be available at this location to assist and direct citizens to the appropriate destination. Parking is available in the first two rows in the lot at the corner of Riverside Avenue and Rosselle Street. JSO’s main public entrance faces Rosselle Street, and the glass doors are clearly labeled with JSO’s insignia.
As part of the Safer Transaction program, citizens are welcome to utilize the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Headquarters parking lot at the corner of Riverside Avenue and Rosselle Street to conduct and exchange legal merchandise purchased or sold through online marketplaces.
Also, available at JSO’s Headquarters is the Prescription Drug Drop Box accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This box, provided by the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators (NADDI), allows citizens to anonymously dispose of unused and outdate medications and prescriptions for proper disposal.
