Two convicted felons are facing more felony charges after Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Narcotics detectives uncovered several pounds of illegal drugs inside a house in the Royal Terrace area of Jacksonville.
Last month, detectives learned about illegal drug activity at a house on Paris Avenue and launched an investigation, building up evidence to obtain a search warrant. Once that warrant was issued, JSO's Narcotics detectives and SWAT team served the warrant.
The following was found during the search:
- 14.2 grams of Fentanyl (enough to potentially kill 7,000+ people)
- 645.2 grams of Powder Cocaine
- 153.1 grams of Crack Cocaine
- Nearly 30 pounds of Marijuana, plus 284.4 grams of Marijuana wax
- 3 handguns
- 1 assault rifle
- $6,128 in cash
Devin Luster, 34, and Curtis Smith, 44, were arrested after the search warrant was served.
