Multiple Firearms and Collection of Illegal Drugs Seized in Herlong Bust

Eleven firearms and a collection of illegal drugs are off the street after we shut down a drug operation in the Herlong area.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) received a tip that an individual was selling drugs out of a house on Bramble Road off Wilson Boulevard. JSO's Narcotics Unit detectives take every tip seriously, and immediately launched an investigation. During the investigation, detectives confirmed 51-year-old Donald Rogers was using the house to push poison into the Jacksonville community. Detectives received a search warrant for the house, and on Thursday, July 30, 2026, JSO's Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team went to the house to search.

The following was discovered:
  • 1,100 potentially lethal doses of Fentanyl (2.2 grams)
  • 36.2 grams of Powder Cocaine
  • 135.3 grams of Marijuana
  • 11 firearms: 6 handguns and 5 rifles
  • More than $1,300 in cash
Rogers was arrested, and he continues to be held in the John E. Goode Pretrial Detention Facility (Duval County jail).
