JSO Makes Quick Arrested in Collins Road Apartment Shooting

Isaiah Robinson, 19, is inside the Duval County jail after he was arrested for a shooting that happened inside an apartment on Collins Road.


On Friday, April 24, 2026, officers responded to an apartment complex on Collins Road near Retreat Boulevard for a person shot. When they arrived, they found a woman inside an apartment who had been shot at least once. She later died from her injuries at the hospital.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Homicide Unit detectives immediately launched their investigation. During the course of the investigation, Isaiah Micaleb Robinson, who was detained at the scene, was quickly developed as the suspect in the case. After interviewing Robinson and reviewing all of the available evidence, Robinson was arrested and charged with manslaughter.
