Logan Fletcher Park, 24, has been arrested and charged with two counts of DUI Manslaughter following a crash that claimed the lives of a beloved local math teacher and his 1-year-old son.
Park turned himself in on Sunday, November 9, 2025, after an extensive JSO Traffic Homicide investigation.
Detectives determined that Park was driving under the influence of alcohol on the evening of Friday, May 16, 2025, on Baymeadows Road near San Jose Boulevard on the Southside.
Park’s vehicle struck Mitchell Patch as he was leaving a gathering and carrying his son, Everett, while crossing Baymeadows Road. Patch was a teacher at a local elementary school.
Park was transported to a local hospital, where his blood alcohol level was drawn. The results showed a BAC of .107, well above the legal limit.
After a thorough investigation, and in coordination with the State Attorney’s Office, JSO detectives obtained a warrant for Park’s arrest.
