Jaheim Muhammad, 21, a convicted felon, is behind bars after he committed a string of armed robberies at different fast-food restaurants and convenience stores across Jacksonville over the course of five days.
Muhammad’s string of robberies began on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, when he robbed a Dollar General on Old Kings Road. After pointing his gun at the store employee, Muhammad left with hundreds of dollars in cash. Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Robbery and Violent Crimes Unit detectives immediately launched an investigation.

The next day, Muhammad visited a gas station on Old St. Augustine Road. He once again pointed his gun at the store employee and left with more cash. That incident is where this surveillance footage image of him was taken. JSO's Robbery and Violent Crimes Unit detectives were able to use the surveillance footage captured to connect him to the Dollar General robbery the previous day.

On Saturday, January 17, 2026, Muhammad committed another armed robbery. He walked into a Whataburger on San Jose Boulevard, pointed his gun at the cashier, and left with some money.

The next day, Muhammad tried again, this time at a Domino’s Pizza on Cassat Avenue. The cashier denied him the cash, and Muhammad left the scene in a rideshare. The driver took him back to his apartment, where JSO's Community Problem Response Unit detectives arrested him.

Muhammad is facing multiple felony charges for his string of armed robberies. He’s behind bars at the John E. Goode Pretrial Detention Facility (Duval County jail).
