On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Kayla Bailey was located in a wooded area in the vicinity in which she went missing by search crews consisting of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD).
Bailey was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation. The circumstances in which she went missing continue to be investigated.

Public Assistance Needed in Locating Missing Person Kayla Bailey
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) is actively searching for 34-year-old Kayla Bailey. She was reported missing Monday, August 18, 2025, after she had not been seen since late Sunday evening. She was last seen at her home on Maxville Boulevard in the Maxville area.
Bailey was last seen wearing a black romper, brown shoes, and glasses. She’s 5’08” and 250 pounds with green eyes and blonde hair.
At this time, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office detectives believe Kayla Bailey may be in danger and is asking for the public’s help to determine her wellbeing. Anyone with information is asked to call 904.630.0500 or email
