Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Facilities Closed for Christmas and New Year's Day
In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, all Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office publicly accessible buildings will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 – Friday, December 26, 2025, and then again on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
Closures include:
- District 1 Substation, 5258-13 Norwood Avenue
- District 2 Substation, 9119 Merrill Road
- District 3 Substation, 8875 Liberty Ridge Drive, Suite 110
- District 4 Substation, 3726 Blanding Boulevard
- District 5 Substation, 1767 Kings Road
- District 6 Substation, 1680 Dunn Avenue
- Police Memorial Building, 501 East Bay Street
- All other publicly accessible buildings
Continued Operations:
- To service our community, JSO’s Patrol Division and the Communications Center will continue to operate as usual. Citizens may call the non-emergency number at 904.630.0500 for police service and are reminded to call 9-1-1 if the situation would constitute an emergency.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office will resume normal operating hours on Monday, December 29, 2025, following Christmas and on Friday, January 2, 2026 following New Year’s Day.
