A man wanted for attempted child abduction and indecent exposure in Daytona Beach, Florida, is behind bars in Jacksonville after JSO officers tracked him down over the weekend.
Timmothy Hall, 55, was identified as the suspect in an incident at a Daytona Beach store on Friday, July 11, 2025, where investigators say he exposed himself and attempted to kidnap a child. The victim told police the man flashed them and grabbed them by the arm before running off. The child was not hurt during the incident.
Detectives learned Hall may be in Jacksonville and requested assistance from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, which includes JSO officers.
During the evening hours of Saturday, July 12, 2025, officers located the suspect in his vehicle in the Arlington neighborhood. With the help of JSO's Aviation and Canine Units, they conducted a felony takedown.
In 2010, authorities in Hillsborough County, Florida, arrested Hall for lewd or lascivious exhibition involving a victim under 16. After his arrest, Hall resigned from his job as a medical assistant at the Duval County Jail, and had to register as a sex offender.
