Thanks to the fast work of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Crime Gun Intelligence Center detectives, patrol officers, and Community Problem Response Unit, a man who stole a firearm from a Highlands-area pawn shop was arrested just three days later.
On Monday, January 5, 2026, a man asked to see a handgun at a pawn shop on Leonid Road, then ran out with it. Surveillance footage in the area helped detectives identify the suspect as 26-year-old Rashard Fulton.
On Thursday, January 8, 2026, detectives and the CPR Unit found Fulton and took him into custody. They discovered the stolen firearm in his bag. This is Fulton’s fourth local arrest.
