On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Chief Ellis Burns joined Mayor Donna Deegan, and representatives from the City of Jacksonville, Legends Global, Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, and Jacksonville Transportation Authority for a news conference to share important details for
Saturday's Florida-Georgia football game in downtown Jacksonville.
Game Day Reminders:
- Come Early! Parking lots open at 8 a.m. It is recommended that attendees are parked by 10:30 a.m. (five hours ahead of kick-off) to avoid delays.
- Fans are reminded to drop a pin after they park, so they can easily locate their car after the game.
- Stadium gates open at 1:30 p.m. To see kick-off, it is recommended to be in line no later than 2:30 p.m.
- For those without pre-paid parking passes, here are other options for game day transportation:
- JTA Gameday Xpress Shuttle Service
- River Taxi
- Rideshare
- No matter which team wins, there is no excuse to drive under the influence. Plan for a designated driver or use a rideshare option.
Citizens are reminded if they see something suspicious to say something. There will be lots of JSO officers throughout the sports entertainment footprint or they can report by calling 904.630.0500.
