Dangerous guns and deadly drugs are off the street after District 2 patrol officers served a search warrant. Joseph Danish, 32, a convicted felon, is facing more criminal charges after the officers found the guns and drugs at his house and in his car off McCormick Road.
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, District 2 patrol officers were called to the area after a neighbor reported Danish was standing in the road, shooting a gun and making threats. When the officers arrived, they saw Danish run into his house. Officers told Danish to come out, and they took him into custody.
Once they determined Danish was a convicted felon who could not legally own a gun, the officers were granted a search warrant for his house and vehicle to check for more weapons. Here’s what they found:
- a shotgun
- a stolen AK-47 rifle
- a revolver
- a Glock switch
- hundreds of live rounds of ammo
- several bags of Cocaine and Methamphetamine
- more than a pound of Marijuana
- a ballistics vest
Danish was already on officers’ radar due to concerns voiced about him during a recent Sheriff's Watch meeting.
