It’s a winter wonderland in District 2 with the annual Blackhawk Bluff Christmas Light Display. Lots of people will visit Girvin Road to enjoy the spectacle, and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) want everyone to enjoy it safely.
District 2 Commander Rickie Valentine visited the display to share some reminders.
- Don’t speed through the neighborhood.
- Be patient with other motorists.
- Drive carefully.
- Have a happy holiday!
The neighbors of Blackhawk Bluff put on this light display for free, so please be respectful of their property. The lights are on from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
JSO officers are in the area ready to help keep traffic moving and keep everyone safe!
