Guns and Drugs Seized in Mixon Town Busts

More guns and drugs off the streets. Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) detectives arrested three men for felonies after discovering a large amount of dangerous drugs and firearms inside two homes in the Mixon Town area.


JSO Narcotics Unit detectives began investigating known drug trafficker 43-year-old Travis Shingles, also known as Fat Travis. Detectives discovered Shingles was using two houses to stash and sell drugs. They continued the investigation, finding probable cause for search warrants for the two houses.

On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, JSO's Narcotics Unit detectives and SWAT Team served the warrants. The following was discovered:
  • 23.9 grams of MDMA
  • 18 grams of Crack Cocaine
  • 9 grams of Powder Cocaine
  • 3 grams of Oxycodone
  • 298.9 grams of Marijuana
  • 3 firearms
  • $3,717 in cash

Shingles as well as 41-year-old Antrone Cummings and 68-year-old Anthony Cooley were arrested.
