Thirty firearms, four criminals, and illegal drugs are off the street thanks to a recent search warrant on Jacksonville’s Eastside.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Community Problem Response Unit (CPR) detectives had been investigating two houses in the Longbranch area for drug complaints. Detectives received search warrants for the two houses, and on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, CPR detectives and SWAT Team served those warrants.
Between the two houses, detectives found 26 rifles and 4 handguns, totaling 30 firearms. They also found Methamphetamine, Xanax, and Marijuana.
Detectives made three felony arrests during the search warrants: 28-year-old Justice Johnson, 29-year-old Jaquan Wims, and 47-year-old Leamon Jackson. All three men have ties to gang activity. Additionally, 65-year-old Marcus Spencer was also arrested.
These houses are just blocks away from an elementary school. These guns are now out of the hands of criminals and off our streets.
