Four teens—two 16-year-olds and two 15-year-olds—are facing felony charges after they ambushed a man in the Norwood area last week.
Just before midnight on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, District 1 patrol officers responded to an armed robbery with a shooting on Crestwood Street near Norwood Avenue. The victim reported he was sitting in his car when the four suspects approached, armed with guns. The suspects demanded the victim get out of the vehicle. When the victim got out of the car, there was an exchange of gunfire between the victim and the suspects. The victim shot and injured two of the suspects.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Robbery and Violent Crimes Unit detectives responded and began a thorough investigation. Detectives quickly identified the four suspects as 16-year-old James Bowden, 16-year-old Adrian Durham, 15-year-old Lajhyisan Foremen (Foreman was 14 at the time of the crime), and 15-year-old Uriah Scarver.
All four teens have all been arrested for Armed Robbery and Attempted Murder. Scarver continues to recover from his gunshot injury in a local hospital; he has been absentee booked at this time and does not have a mugshot yet.
