Due to a winter weather-related incident, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) headquarters (Police Memorial Building) located in downtown Jacksonville at 501 E. Bay Street, will be closed to the public on Monday, February 2, 2026.
Those seeking a police report or local criminal background check may go to one of
JSO’s six district substations from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday for those services.
Those locations are:
- District 1 Substation, 5258-13 Norwood Avenue
- District 2 Substation, 9119 Merrill Road
- District 3 Substation, 8875 Liberty Ridge Drive, Suite 110
- District 4 Substation, 3726 Blanding Boulevard
- District 5 Substation, 1767 Kings Road
- District 6 Substation, 1680 Dunn Avenue
The Patrol Division and the Communications Center will continue to operate as usual. Citizens may call the non-emergency number at
904.630.0500 for police services and are reminded to call 9-1-1 if the situation would constitute an emergency.
Additionally, the Forfeiture Warehouse located at 1087 Haines Street will also be closed on Monday.
