Game Day Traffic: Main Street Bridge Northbound Lanes Remain Closed

The northbound lanes of the Main Street Bridge, heading into Downtown Jacksonville, are closed while the crew repairs the damage caused by a ship hitting the bridge last month. This means routes to EverBank Stadium for Sunday's Jaguars game may be impacted.
 

There are four alternate routes for those who normally take the Main Street Bridge. Those routes are:
  • Emerson Street to the Hart Bridge
  • I-95 North to Union Street
  • I-95 North to MLK Jr. Parkway
  • Acosta Bridge to Union Street
 
With the bridge closure impacting traffic, attendees are reminded to arrive early!  In the video, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office posted on Friday, Chief Burns of JSO's Special Events Division, encouraged fans to arrive four hours ahead of the 1 p.m. kickoff. 

Following the game, fans will be able to take the Main Street Bridge southbound to return to I-95 South.
