Important JSO Facility Information During COVID-19 Pandemic
March 27, 2020
In accordance with Mayor Curry’s Executive Order, the lobbies of all Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office locations are temporarily closed to the public except for rare occurrences so that essential operations can continue.
For assistance please call the facility to talk with JSO personnel.


Public Counter at Police Headquarters (501 E. Bay Street):
For individuals seeking a police report, requests can be submitted through JSO's online portal by visiting jaxsheriff.org and selecting "Public Records Request" on the homepage under Frequently Used Links. Additionally, citizens may call 904.630.2220 to speak to Public Records Personnel and arrange to pick-up a report. At this time only traffic crash reports, arrest and booking reports, and incident reports are available by request. No other functions are being conducted at headquarters or any of the substations in the city.
 
Patrol Substations:
All patrol substations are operational, however the lobbies are closed at this time. Substation personnel are available to assist citizens over the phone and they are equipped to fulfill public records requests (see above for list of services that are available) via email and fax.

Please call 904.630.8777 for specific instructions.
 
Correctional Facilities:
For those wanting to add money to an inmate’s phone account you can do so online at www.offenderconnect.com or via telephone at 1.877.650.4249.
 
For those wanting to add money to an inmate’s commissary account you can use the online services at www.inmatedeposits.com or via telephone at 1.866.345.1884.
 
Community Transition Center
.      Individuals will no longer be allowed to enter the Public Lobby except for the following reasons:
  • Attorney visits
  • Payment of GPS monitoring fees via Kiosk

Pre-Trial Detention Facility (Jail)
Individuals will no longer be allowed to enter the Public Lobby except for the following reasons:
  • Attorney visits
  • Court Ordered Business
  • Individuals attempting to pay Bonds for inmates
  • Individuals wishing to pick up an inmates’ property  (money and keys only)
  • Notary Services, limited to Power of Attorney forms pertaining to medical care
If you would like to request access to the facility, please call 904.630.5760 and select option #1.  A staff member will assist you.
 
Montgomery Correctional Center (Prison)
Individuals will no longer be allowed to enter the Public Lobby except for the following reasons:
  • Attorney visits
  • Court Ordered Business
  • Individuals wishing to pick up an inmates’ property  (money and keys only)
  • Notary Services, limited to Power of Attorney forms pertaining to medical care
