December 16, 2025 - Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Undersheriff Shawn Coarsey and Chief Alan Parker shared details about an officer-involved shooting. This happened on Bradd Avenue off Dunn Avenue around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
Convicted Rapist Behind Bars
December 16, 2025 - Hugh Perry, 55, is serving a 30-year prison sentence after he sexually assaulted a woman nearly four years ago. Now, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Special Assault Unit detectives want to know if he assaulted other women.
Man Arrested for Back-to-Back Murders
December 15, 2025 - Curtis Asberry, 37, is facing two murder charges after he killed a man and a woman last month.
