JSO Releases Critical Incident Briefing
September 05, 2023 - The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, along with the State Attorney’s Office, continue the investigation into the officer involved shooting that occurred Friday, August 18, 2023, in the 500 block of Duval Station Road.
Idalia: Be Aware and Prepare
August 28, 2023 - Aligning with the City of Jacksonville’s emergency management plans, all Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office buildings will be closed to the public Tuesday, August 29 – Wednesday, August 30, and are expected to re-open at the regularly scheduled times on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Sheriff Waters to Walk in the Oakland Community on Saturday
August 21, 2023 - This Saturday, August 26, 2023, Sheriff T.K. Waters is scheduled to walk in the Oakland Community to meet with citizens "one-on-one". These walks are a chance for the Sheriff to hear firsthand the concerns of the citizens of Jacksonville.
