JSO Releases New Edition of "Behind the Voice of JSO"

On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released a new edition of "Behind the Voice of JSO" featuring Police Emegency Communications Officer II Andrea Kaszanits.

JSO's "Behind the Badge" campaign is designed to give citizens a glimpse into the personal lives of a member of the Sheriff's Office. Behind every officer, there is a voice of guidance – the Police Emergency Communications Officers. These unsung heroes play a vital role as they give directions to officers and relay important information. In high-pressure situations, they remain calm and composed, offering critical instructions and support to callers until help arrives. These voices are an indispensable part of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and just like the officers, they are everyday people.

Those interested in joining the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and working with people like Police Emergency Communications Officer II Kaszanits are encouraged to apply.
